In vitro study | Pilaralisib demonstrated cytotoxic activity in pediatric preclinical testing program (PPTP) cell lines with a median relative IC50 of 10.9 mM (range of 2.7 mM-24.5 mM). |
In vivo study | In BALB/c nu/nu mice, Pilaralisib (100 mg/kg, p.o.) induced tumor growth inhibition in solid glioma xenografts. Pilaralisib was well tolerated with a toxicity rate of only 0.7 percent in the treated group, similar to that observed in control animals. In athymic female mice, Pilaralisib (100 mg/kg, p.o.) significantly delayed tumor growth without significant drug-related toxicity. |
